Wm. Anthony Connolly teaches full-time in the MFA program at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri, and is a workshop facilitator for the Missouri Humanities Council Veterans’ Writing Workshops held each summer at the St. Louis Public Library, central location.
To date, three novels have been published as well as several essays, short stories, poems and produced plays. A novella The Smallest Universe and the reissue of his debut novel, The Jenny Muck, and a novel entitled Snow Borne Sorrow are forthcoming. He is currently working on a memoir called Odd Spine & The Emptiness.
Recently, the journal Creative Nonfiction hailed him as one of the best bloggers in America. He is Reading Series Editor at Talking Writing the online journal of first-person narrative, www.talkingwriting.com.
Writer Annie Dillard calls Connolly’s literary work “poetic,” and Random House editor Mick Silva compares Connolly’s memoirist voice and style to David Foster Wallace. 🙂
He is married to the human resources expert Dyan E. Connolly and they share a home with Hemingway Short Story and Professor Leo Tolstoy, plus a menagerie of furry ghosts (Digger, Jigsaw, Beauregard, Poe and Sugar).
